An exclusive journey from sweet garden harmonies to neon electronic dance music sounds are on display as Music SA Certificate III Music Business students proudly present Neon Garden this November.
Neon Garden combines bright lights and sweet garden sounds of eight young emerging artists and their diverse musical talents. The eclectic night illuminates music from pop tunes and EDM to warm acoustic guitars sounds, showcasing the best that Music SA students have to offer. Students from Adelaide metropolitan high schools (including Pembroke, Immanuel, Mercedes, Scotch, Trinity Colleges and Mitcham Girls High School) have been song writing throughout the year, connecting with industry and audience as the city’s fresh new music makers.
“It’s changed the way I think about myself. Originally I was just a student, but now I see myself as a musician who goes to school.” Tom Wormald (Certificate III student)
The will night commence in The Jade garden, with music from acoustic act Toffee before punters venture inside and slowly turn up the electronics towards the neon sounds of EDM.
The night not only showcases the music, but also the students studying the Event Management course. The group of 5 young women are driven to breaking their way into the music scene, having previously curated the hugely successful Pop Punk Party Time for Umbrella Winter City Sounds – an innovative gig performed on the 8th floor of the Wyatt St Car Park.
Take advantage of the warm weather and head down to The Jade on the 3rd of November for cool, hot, summer sounds.
