In the lead up to our 2023 courses, MusicSA will be highlighting some incredible local talent who also happen to be alumni of our VET and short courses!

Jordan Tito is an artist and tour manager, festival and events all-rounder and member of Adelaide emo-pop outfit Madura Green.

With over 10 years of experience in the music and events industry, Jordan has fulfilled many different roles including artist and tour manager, musician, merchandise representative, artist services, and festival and events all-rounder. She has her own business TITO ENT which is responsible for artist and tour management for local Adelaide bands and spends her time freelancing for festivals and events.

What was the highlight of your experience studying with MusicSA?
The biggest highlight of these courses was meeting other kids who were just as passionate about music as I was. I was a teenager in high school who came out of these programs with life long friends, colleagues and even band members (I met our guitarist in one of the classes). In addition, meeting and learning from Nev Deboar was life changing – the community he cultivated and the mark he left on young and inspired kids during his time at Music SA is the reason why we have such a thriving industry of creatives.

Since starting your career in the music industry, what has been your most proud achievement?
There have been a number of career achievements – some of those include working across different roles at some of Australia’s biggest music festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Soundwave, Laneway Festival, Spin Off, UNIFY Gathering and more.

What advice would you give to someone starting their journey in the music industry?
Don’t pigeon hole yourself – try everything until you work out what it is you love doing. Volunteer, put yourself out there and never be afraid to try something new.

What do you love most about the Adelaide/South Australian music scene?
I’ve always been super passionate about the local live scene in South Australia. The South Australian music scene has always been so rich in talent and passion and has always been a hub for accessible world-class bands.

Tell us about your latest project.
I now predominately work in touring so I’m currently working on a bunch of exciting national and international tours in the new year.
